Question :

How to disable subject notice in VHC v5.4.1 running on Ubuntu 16.04.

FYI, for now and the foreseeable future on the virtual desktop, I've performed the following...

Device Manager->VMware Virtual Serial Port Bus->Right Click->Disable device->Restart remote desktop

...and the prior, constantly repeating notice no longer appears.

Does this mean that my virtual windows desktop cannot recognize my local network printer?

Please advise.

Which version agent being used here?

Condition-1) If installed horizon client in agent side as well, please ensure to use matched 5.4.x client. Or else need to uninstall client, uninstall agent, then reinstall agent 7.12, reinstall client 5.4.x in agent VM. (Refer to VMware Knowledge Base .

Condition-2) If not installed horizon client in agent side, how about using the matched, same time released 7.12 agent(Notes, only install agent7.12 in agent VM)?

We need more details. What is it "Scanner Redirection notice"? How does it look like? Is it tray icon notification? Or something else?
