change Composer DB user password

Hi all,

this is View 4.0 update 1 with Composer 2.0 - 210930.

During View Composer installation, it asked for the DSN, database username and password. My questions is how to change this username and password after installation??

I think you need to use the sviconfig tool

Thanks, that's seems to be right direction, but as in the doucment, the command can only do two operations, one is databaseupgrade, one is restoredata, and "The database upgrade command is used to upgrade a View Composer 1.0 schema to version 1.1".

I am not doing any upgrade, just chaning password. I tried just use the -Password parameter, it didn't do anything. if I do upgrade with new password, does it really upgrade the schema?

So you could backup the database and try it i dont belive that runing the update would hurt and if it does you can just restore the database.

The other option is to run setup again - i think there is an option not to over right the database
