linux is not supported as a virtual desktop. for client you can try to vdiblaster as it provide PCOIP supports but it's not free ..

Hi u29236,

It would have been helpfull if you provided a bit more info about what you are trying to acheive. When you say he want to have his desktop as Linux, do u mean he want the VM he is connected to through VMware View to run Linux or is it the VM he is connecting from is what running Linux.

If its the VM he is connecting to it through View, then that is not supported at all. In the other hand, if its the workstation he is connecting from is running Linux then you might want to try the Open Source Client which seems to do the voice as far I remember.

If you are into testing something not supported and might need a lot of hassle to ensure you are not running in legal trouble for using then you might want to look at: VMware View Client Linux PCoIP How to Although this article is clear and easy, its a non supported setup and can run you in a legal trouble unless you can get an acceptance to use it from companies that own the code involved.

If you ask me you are better off waiting for the official VMware View Client with PCoIP support hopefully should not be too long from now (at least hoping so Smiley Happy) I am waiting for that my self too.

Please reward points if this help.
