Wyse PCoip direct connection to VM running on ESXI

I would like to directly connect a Wyse PCoIP zero client to a VM running on ESXI 6 (without Horizon).
Could someone please give me a pointer on how to do this / what is required
as I am a bit confused ? This is for a home lab.

simply install "view agent" & "Direct -connection agent " in the VM which is hosted in ESXI

and in zero client ,in broker setting , choose vmware view and in the broker url location you can use the VM ip address directly  or its DNS name if it resolvable

it will work ,,im doing that in POC all the time

I believe the wyse clients only support PCoIP when connecting to an Horizon agent like the Horizon direct connect agent. You should be able to just use plain ol' RDP with that zero client.

+1 to TechGuy's comment. On a Zero client the configuration to use PCoIP will need the URL to a Load balanced or single Connection server. Using the RDP configuration on the Zero Client and making sure that RDP is setup and ready on the VM will do the trick.

I'm running ESXI 6.0 and am interested in using PCoIP direct connection to a Windows
OS VM via the Wyse PCoiP zero client.
Can this be done for free and what
software is required ? Looking at "View Agent Direct-Connection Plug-In
Administration",
I see that View Agent needs to be installed followed by the direct connection plug-in (and
there is a limitation on supported Windows OS versions to be used for the VM).

Wyse P45 has connection types :Auto Detect,Direct to Host,
Direct to Host + SLP Discovery, PCoIP Connection manager,
PCoIP Connection manager, + Auto Login,View Connection Server,
View Connection Server + Auto login, View Connection Server +kiosk,
View Connection Server + Imprivata OneSign, Connection management interface

Using connection type = "Auto detect" and VM ip address, I can
access the VM and via embedded host client, I can access the host/esxi

I have AMT on the Leneovo TS140 server I am using for ESXI.
If the VM is shut down, is the only way to restart it
via another windows pc / embedded host client ?
