Environment: VMware view 6.2 / ESXI 6.0 u1a
Tera2 clients
Windows 7 floating pool.
Only 1 machine allowed per user.
When a user clicks start -> logoff in Windows 7 from the View connection on a Tera2 zero client, the screen goes black and presents the zero client login screen.
This is causing an issue because the user then tries to log in immediately after logging out, but cannot because the logoff process is still occurring. Is there a way to configure it so the Windows logoff process appears in the session? I couldn't find a way to do this in Teradici management, View management, or Group policy, and searching in communities, but I may be overlooking something or not looking for the right thing.
If more details are needed please ask for the additional info.
Thanks!
I don't think there is a way to show logoff screen when user is logging off as PCoIP server will be terminated before the session ends. PCoIP is using different way on how to manage user session screen.
That is what I thought. I wish there was a setting in PCOIP or VMware that would allow users to see the logoff process. Telling people to count 20 seconds doesn't always work.
I wish this was possible also. It's very annoying when the logs get full with users trying to login right away after logging off.
Amen to this.
Teradici should add a new firmware setting to disallow logins to the same pool for some configurable period of time after a user logs off, with an admin-defined message that pops up if they try to log back in too quickly.
Yeah. It's a bummer. One trick if you really need to see what is going on. Log in and out of a desktop from the vSphere console.
