Windows 10: Fall Creators Build 1709 Experiences

Yes, I know it's not yet supported...but I'm curious how your testing is going with the new Win10 Fall Creators Build 1709. (Insider Fast Ring)

We've played around with it, but cannot get composer to successfully finish provisioning.  We think it's due to all of the new Security Features backed into the OS.  We will slowly disable them until we are successful.  How's your testing going?

Our initial testing shows that this is fixing the issue. We are waiting to hear what the permanent fix will be.

For PCOIP/BLAST protocol, update the following in the View agent machine.

- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VMware, Inc.\VMware SVGA DevTap

- Create a DWORD with name WDDMDevAPIversion and set it to 1.

- Create key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\VMware, Inc.\VMware SVGA DevTap

- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\VMware, Inc.\VMware SVGA DevTap

- Create a DWORD with name WDDMDevAPIversion and set it to 1.

I can confirm the registry fix solves the cursor issue. (Tools 10.2 and Agent 7.4 installed)

Hope the permanent fix wil be soon.
