Windows 10 1709 Fresh install on View 7

Hi,

I hoping someone can help with this problem I am currently having.

I have done a fresh install of Windows 10 Enterprise Fall Edition 1709 as new virtual machine with the intention of turning this into a linked clone for a pool.

The problem I am having is that I can start this machine multiple times with no worries (with tools installed), UNTIL I install the Agent.

Once I install the agent on boot i get a black screen with spinning DOTS after the windows 10 LOGO. ( I can successfully boot into safe mode) - I am also running on the latest VMware Tools.

I have tried Agent versions 7.0.3 , 7.3.2 , 7.4. All replicate the same issue.

I feel this could a USB driver issue as if I edit the hardware settings for the VM and remove the USB 3.0 Controller, It will boot into Windows no worries although I do get a crashed program on login (VMware Logon helper monitor crashes)

Have any of you experienced this?

To isolatethe issue with PCOIP protocol, check connecting the desktop using RDP and lets know if the issue repeats

What version of vsphere are you running? Is it at the current patch level? when building the gold image are you selecting the right OS type?
