I'm experiencing an issue related to resizing the View client window. Regularly (but not always) it's difficult to resize the window because the mouse pointer doesn't change into the resize pointer when I hover over the bottom corner of the window. Sometimes it works but is very sensitive to getting it in exactly the right place. Usually I can click back to the Finder or another window, then switch back to the View client, but sometimes it requires doing this several times.
This can be very frustrating because the View client doesn't remember the window size from the last session, so I have to resize the window every time I run the client. I would like to see this feature added to a future release of the client.
View Client can remember the window size on my Macbook Air. Maybe you need to log-off from last session after resized View Client window.
Thanks.
In my case it will retain the window size if I don't restart the View application. Logging off, disconnecting, or shutting down the View VM doesn't make any difference.
Looks like your preference file is locked. Maybe you can try to remove com.vmware.view.plist file from $HOME/Library/Preferences and /Library/Preferences if it exists. Then relaunch View Client to re-generate it.
