What should be installed in the thin client for the VDI solution?

Does anyone show me the location for the deployment documents about the VDI solution?

If you don't use a connection broker nothing needs to be loaded since every thin client, at least, ships with an embedded RDP protocol.

If you use a connection broker what you have to load on the thin clients vey much depend on the broker sw you use. Connection broker providers usually have WIn32, LInux, WinCE packages available (usually available as SNAP-IN's from the thin client vendor) that will allow you to do that.

If I have a Connection Broker, and say I have 50 Vm's can I power on 30 of them and keep 20 turned off and if someone tries to connect it will power the next 31 on for them?

yes there are connection brokers that can do this, leostream is one but there are other vendors
