Hi,
I have a connection broker and a additional broker. If my main Connection broker crashes due to OS failure, how will the users authenticate to my additional connection broker? Is there any parameter I need to change ?
Thanks
You don't need to change anything. They just need the new IP/FQDN of the replica (I'm hoping that's what you mean by "additional connection broker"). You may want to put a load balancer up and that way clients only need the single address of the load balancer.

how can i configure the load balancer between the connection broker and replica ?
Thanks
Depends on the Load Balancer. Just get a load balancer that supports either DNS or Web Load balancing (we didn't create one). The load balancer would point to each of the IPs/FQDNs of the broker and its replicas. It'd also be aware that a server is unavailable because they will return a 404 when not available and a 200 when available. If your VDM environment is virtualized you might want to consider looking at the Hercules or BalanceNG Virtual Appliances (found in http://www.vmware.com/appliances/ )

For setting up the load balancer and configuring it check the link " ".
The pdf document contains information and setup instructions of setting up the load balancer using the Hercules load balancer and the Windows Network load Balancing feature.
The Hercules load balancer is a virtual appliance and be downloaded for free from " "
If you are using the Hercules load balancer Virtual Appliance you will have to edit the /etc/init.d/pen file, and add the replica Connection broker IP/FQDN.
for example:
SERVER1=10.0.0.1:http
SERVER2=10.0.0.2.:https
Make sure you reboot the Hercules load balancer after adding the Replica Connection Broker to the /etc/init.d/pen file.
