What happens to a connected user if you disable the desktop pool they are using?

I checked the documentation and surprisingly it doesn't mentions what happens to active uses it your disable there desktop pool.  I have only ever disable a desktop pool during maintenance periods when all users were off the system but i'm curious what would happen if the opposite was true.

Thanks

Nothing, the users still work as normal, but the desktop pool doesn't show as available. I'm pretty sure when you delete a pool, it will tell you about exisiting sessions and ask if they can continue, and then finish the delete once they are done if I remember right.
