Want to upgrade to 5.1, but what if I don't have a CA?

We have a lab install of 5.0.1 installed and working. Only for testing purposes right now. I would like to upgrade it to the new 5.1 release, but all documentation seems to say that I have to have a CA to create certificates. What if I don't have a CA. Does this mean that I have to create one in order to upgrade to 5.1?

Your users will simply be prompted with a warning that VMware View cannot verify the identity of the server that they will have to hit 'Continue' for when connecting. For other components, you will also have to accept those as well when adding.
