Vmware horizon get black screen then disconnect

Im using vmware horizon 4.8 with company proxy, but when I login from the client , the remote desktop can't display and shows black screen, then gives one error" the connection to the remote computer time out";

If I remove the proxy and connect Internet directly, then there is no issue;

Please support to check what's the issue here, thanks

The Horizon Client will automatically use the proxy. If you need the traffic to flow through the proxy then you will need to work with your proxy administrator to allow the traffic. Alternatively you can configure a registry value for the Horizon Client to bypass the proxy.

Using Internet Explorer Proxy Settings

add the Horizon IPs  such a Security server, Horizon Connection manager and vDesktop  VLANs as exception the proxy  in your browsers

its obvious the issue from network,

is there any firewall in middle within the proxy ?what kind of proxy server in your network ?

normally we notice this behavior when the firewall block the PCOIP protocol , (4172 UDP)

We had a similar issue, it was caused by logging being enabled in the group policy. The destination it was trying to output the logs to was not accessible as a result we got black screen eventually disconnect.

Hey - we have the same problem but with connections (from internet) via UAG's into our RDSH farm. The screen is black (app doesn't launch) and log files show 'No shared memory channel. Horizon client service may be down.' and numerous 'RPC server unavailable' errors. Could you expand on your previous post a bit please? What type of logging were you referring to?

Cheers!

Dave
