Vmware View 5.1 Publishing an Application

Hi,

I'm new to Vmware view thinapps.

My question is, I have an application running on Windows 2008 R2 with Remote desktop services. Is there a way in VMware view 5.1 to publish this application and have users run it off the server so it appears as if its installed locally but actually running remotely using the server resources?

Hope that makes sense

You need to use the latest version of Horizon View, version 6 with the "Advanced" or "Enterprise" license.

Ok in 5.1 can i stream an application?

When the application is streamed is it actually running of the file share and using the resources on the remote server? such as cpu ram?

Streaming is done with ThinApp, and it uses the resources of whatever system is executing it. It does not use the resources of the remote server (e.g. file server).
