Vmware View 4 minimum requirement ?

Hi Team,

I want to setup a Lab with Vmware View 4 for VDI technology for that I have downloaded the following exe from Vmware sites, but

VMware-viewagent-4.0.0-210939.exe

VMware-viewclient-4.0.0-210939.exe

VMware-viewclientwithoffline-4.0.0-210939.exe

VMware-viewcomposer-2.0.0-210930.exe

VMware-viewconnectionserver-4.0.0-210939.exe

I search lot on Vmware site but they didn’t give any physical h/w (cpu, memory , n/w devices etc ) or s/w ( os ) requirement for above applications.

What is the relationship between vSphere & Vmwaer View 4.

One more important question, is it necessary to implement vSphere before Implemention Vmwaer View 4, if Yes then Why ? ( Can I install Vmware View 4 without configuring vSphere )

I have to setup a lab for Vmware View 4, please guide me.

See on http://www.vmware.com/support/pubs/view_pubs.html (in the Admin guide)

You must install vSphere U1 (ESX + vCenter), cause it is the infrastructure for View 4 (you can also use VI 3.5 U4)-

Then you can install Composer on the vCenter Server and build a new VM with viewconnectionserver.

For your desktop VM you must only install VMware Tools and View Agent.

At this point you can use the View Client (with or without the offline function).

You must implement the infrastructure BEFORE.
