Vmware Horizon5.4 does not ask for microphone access

VMware does not ask for microphone access therefore when I connect to the virtual desktop I don't have microphone output.

Can someone please help?

I an using horizon 5.4 on a MAC Catalina host.

I am experiencing the same issue. But this issue appears to be routed in an actual VMWare issue and not necessarily related to the mac or client. It doesn't work on Windows OS either with any built in microphones. It seems only analog microphones are detected.
