Vmware Horizon Client for Mac can't get past login screen after latest update (21435414)

In connecting to multiple different servers (managed by other people) I can no longer interact with the desktop using either keyboard or mouse. 

If my session times out (which will happen because I cannot interact) I can interact with the screen to enter my password, and then no longer.

Version 2303

Build 8.9.0 (21435414)

This happened after a recent update.

I can still connect to these desktops from a Windows machine or using the HTML version.

Can you please check the above link to see if it's checked in Accessibility will fix the issue?
If not, please check "Input Monitoring" to see if Horizon client is added there, but not checked. Check it, or remove it from "Input Monitoring" to see if it works.

This is what I had to do. It works now!
