Is there a way to utilize the benefits of these protocols without using Horizon?
We do have a large environment using vSphere and I would like to be able to remotely access them with these protocols and not RDP.
Is this possible? Currently we use a gateway in between that supports the regular protocols - guacamole
Thanks.
Hello,
I believe the blast protocol is associated only with a Horizon View setup and cannot be used in the normal Virtual Machine environment.
Thanks.
Why do you think so?
Teradici has Cloud Access Software which uses PCoIP
simply you can install vmware View agent and Horizon direct-connect agent and then use Horizon client to connect to these machines without the need of connection server
no you cannot. but there are other HTML5 display protocols that you could use in their place.
@tom, like what? Guacamole et-al simply arent good enough.
There is Myrtille, ThinVNC, FreeRDP HTML proxy , Spark, admitedly these are not PCoIP and HTML however Ericom, do have a HTML5 Client that can proxy PCoIP.
