Hello fellow Vmuggers,

We have an environment with approximately 150 users. Majority of these users are Composer linked clone users. Some of our users

get the following message while logging off and their VMs, only logging off

" Windows saving settings" and it gets stuck there... Anything I need to check in depth ?

My first guess is some kind of profile issue. What are you doing for user profiles in the linked clone environment?

we have ie favourites/my documents folders only redirected for all our users to a network share... no roaming profiles...

this happens randomly for different users...a simple google search shows this seems to be a common issue and not really solved

some of our users go a week or so and then this occurs

but oddly enough they can log off during the day and it works fine but they log off afternoon time and

they get the saving settings stuck message
