Virtual Printer in View 5

I Noticed that the ThinPrint "TP..." Services on the View Connection Server and on the Client is gone after upgrade and that the Dynamic creation of printers no longer work as expected

There is little to be found in the docs on how to transition from 4.6 to 5.0 on this matter.

1) Should I remove the "Virtual Printing" module from the VMware Tools 5.0 and use the one in View 5.0 Agent ?

2) Should it not work out of the box as in 4.6 ?

Update:

Seems I need to:

Un-install View Agent (not upgrade)

Remove Virtual Print module from VMware Tools

Boot

Install Full View Agent againt

Boot

And then the TP services where back

I've seen this before in older versions if you upgrade the VM tools of the clone.  It really comes down to an order of things and I've found that upgrading tools and then upgrading the View agent last works best.

Thanks dvello, had the same issues with printing and followed your instruction. Works fine now.
