I'm having a similiar issue like this. (but I already have the .net framework client) I'm running View Connection Server and View Client 5. I can log into the View Client passing the credentials without a problem but when I open a desktop pool (Windows XP w/ sp3, recent patches) I get the XP sign on error saying "The system could not log you on. (etc)". If I retype the password it logs in and functions as intended.
I've recreated the issue with different desktop pools and version 4.6 of the client - BUT...
I also have Juniper hosting virtual desktops and it works without issue. It goes right in and authenticates without issue so that tells me it is not a view connection server setting but perhaps a view client setting.
Has anyone seen this before? Juniper Client works but not VMware?! Thanks!!
P.S This is an all-new installation with all-new pools/desktops.
