View for Vmware Server VM and two clients

Hello,

I am considering moving a physical Windows workstation into a VM running in Vmware Server on a Linux host. (The Linux box is the only available system to host the VM, and the Linux system has cards that will not work if the Linux system is also in a VM.) This Windows workstation currently has two consoles connected with a KVM splitter than both need access to the same Windows desktop. This system is standalone and not connected to the datacenter or any other servers.

Can Vmware View be used to connect two PCoIP clients to the same VM desktop at the same time? Can View run on its own with Vmware Server and a single VM?

Only session at a time may be connected to a View desktop. Also View requires ESX and vCenter and while I haven't tried it I doubt it would work in VMware Server.
