View disconnects

We are having an issue where a user logs into view and they system disconnects the first 3 or 4 times then lets the user in.   The issue seems to happen more when there are 2 monitors.

i have sent to logs to Vmware and I am waiting to hear.   However, anyone have any ideas where i would start to look..  Like I said, it doesn't happen all of the time.  It seems to happen more with 2 monitors configured.  Once thet connnected, they are fine the whole day.

What version of View are you running? There where significant improvement in session resiliency in View 5.

Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else

I assume this was with PCOIP and not RDP.   I would open a case with teradici as I believe this is a known issue.

Here is a link to the site   http://www.teradici.com/

Teradici won't be that helpful unless its Zero Client related... so...

What client are you using?

If its a Zero Client, make sure you are on 3.5.0 or above firmware.

Even so I get this issue every once in a while, but its been a lot less often since 5.0.

Client is 5.0 from VMware.

But also have the issue with Wyse P20’s running the latest firmware and the Wyse R50L.

I looked at the PCIOP website and found some stuff that was close, but nothing that matches.

Okay if its happening from multiple clients, its not the client, its the agent.

I'd recommend uninstalling the Agent, then uninstalling tools.  Then reinstall tools, followed by agent.  Most likely something in the SVGA driver got screwed up which is causing the issue.
