View desktops will not allow a "space" as the first character of a user password

Our environment requires a space in the users' domain password. However we discovered last week that if the space is actually the first character in their password that their view desktop will report back that the password is invalid.

I was able to duplicate the behavior with a test account. I was successfully able to log into a domain laptop just fine but when connecting to my view session I was denied. I'm assuming that somewhere VMWare is trimming the input but that's just speculation on my part.

Just curious if anyone else has ever seen this before I open a ticket.

I just tested this through HTML access on version 6.2.1 build-3284346 and it worked fine.

Hmm. Now that's weird. Time to go down all the rabbit holes. Thank you for the feedback. It's good to know that it can work.

So here's what I've discovered so far:

I can connect just fine with our HTML portal access.

I can also connect directly thru the two connection servers we have.

Where it still fails is if I connect to our security server which is in the DMZ.
