It has disappeared as a download on Vmware's site and now has a disclaimer that you have to get it from your linux device or thin client manufacturer.
It has disappeared out of the latest canonical repositories for Ubuntu derivatives... UbuntuUpdates - Package "vmware-view-client" (raring 13.04)
13.10 doesn't even show it any fashion as ever having been in the repository. At least 13.04 shows that it USED to be there.
It seems like Vmware just keeps dumping on the linux community. Well over half of their products are based on linux/unix but can only be utilized from windows. I am getting more and more ready to jump ship to some other product line.
