View client RTAV - redirect multiple Speakers

Hello everyone,

we want to use (RTAV) Realtime Audio Video for Softphones on the View Clients. It's working well with the Headset.

The Problem is the ring tone: incomming phone calls should ring on the PC-speaker insteat of the Headphone-Speaker... Is there a way to redirect an additional Speaker?

At the moment RTAV is redirecting only the default speaker...

Thanks for your help.

We have some blogs which describe the settings with details.

Windows client: http://blogs.vmware.com/euc/2013/07/3370.html

"Audio" section

Linux client: http://blogs.vmware.com/euc/2013/11/vmware-horizon-view-real-time-audio-video-rtav-part-2.html

"Audio Device Selection"

Mac client: http://blogs.vmware.com/euc/2014/01/vmware-horizon-view-real-time-audio-video-rtav-mac-os-x.html

"Audio Device Selection"

I just realized you want to change the default "speaker" but not "microphone", if so, you can simply change it on client via Control Panel -> Sound -> Playback, then change the default speaker, log off and relaunch the view session.

It is similar to set on Linux and Mac client.

Hi chengs

Thank you for the answer, but I'm looking for a way to redirect two Speakers simultaneously. I need to set PC-speaker for the ringtone and Headset speaker for the phone call.

Same here, multiple mics are working. It there a way/plan to add multiple speaker support in RTAV?
