View client 1.7 unable to connect to USB

Hi,

I've downloaded and installed the latest Mac View client, 1.7, because I need USB passthrough support. When I attempt to connect a USB device, the view client kicks out an error about being unable to connect to the needed service. I've tried restarting my Mac, but no luck. I'm running 10.8, fully patched.

My virtual desktop can connect to USB devices when I connect to it from a Windows machine, so I don't think it's a configuration in the virtual desktop.

any thoughts?

View Agent is 5.1.1.799444

Do we need to upgrade View to 5.1.2?
