View - Which version am I looking for?

Trying to find the client I need to download.

My normal way of connecting is through a conncection broker through IE.

However my connection method isnt working. Isn't there a VMWare View that is a FAT client that will do the same thing?

You have to use View Client package (from View downloads) and install on your Windows client.

For Linux there is an Open Source (and limited) version.

do you have the installation bundle for View? Inside that bundle is the View Client. Also, if it's simply just connecting to a VM, why not just use RDP in a pinch?

What exactly is the problem?

Nevermind I think I resolved on my own. I downloaded VMWare VIEW 4. Seems to be what I was looking for.

For some reason I can't connect to a desired VM - It says the desktop cannot be opened but I can login fine via the Infrastructure client.

Maybe you are confusing the View Connection broker and the vCenter server? (They are 2 different products with different usecases)
