View Server 5 - Install fails with msg: wizard was interrupted...

Hi,

I'm trying to install VMware View Server 5 on a VM with Windows Server 2008 R2, and the instalation fails at the end with the message:

"The wizard was interrupted before Vmware View Connection Server could be completely installed."

In attachement the log of the installation.

Anyone has seen this problem before?

Do you have UAC enabled on the server?  If so, try right-clicking and doing the "Run as Administrator" on the setup app.

UAC is disabled.

I'm logged in as the DOMAIN\Administrator

Maybe your AD info is incorrect?  Are you installing on a domain controller?  Not sure about either of those responses but it's something to look into perhaps

I'm not installing on the dc, but the problem definitely is something on my machine, because i just installed a new VM from scratch and it installed ok on this new VM.
