Hello All
I am trying to enable my vmware view 4.0 Desktops out side of my Network.
So i installed a security server in the DMZ.
Named it vdi and added it to mydomain.com WORKGROUP.
I setup a DNS record of vdi.mydomain.com.
My View works inside of my network. But when you connect to View Portal and after you login you get this error message.
A connection to the View Server https://vdi:443 could not be established.
The server name could not be resolved.
I have gone into my Conection server and added the full name under global settings vdi.mydomain.com
Any help
Sounds like you need to set your external URL Here is a link to the admin guide and I believe external URL is on page 97. Also remember you need to be partnered with a connection server not using direct connect mode, open up port 3389 from your security server to your vdi desktops, and PCOIP doesn't work through a security server.

Thanks mittim12
I missed the last step of the security server setup about coping the configuration file and putting into the security server from the communicaiton server.
