View SVGA nVidia licenseserver

Hi, in a vsphere host V6.7 View 7.xx with a nVidia Card tesla M10 for only using SVGA do I need the license server? Off course the license is needed

This is a question for Nvidia; they can provide a definitive answer.

That said, I am sure that you need a license server (even though the GRID vGPU software will still function if a license server is not available).

Without a license server you cannot show your use has been consistent with the license you've purchased.

This will be a major issue in the event of an audit (or any other inquiry) of compliance.

Again, contact Nvidia for confirmation.
