Hello,
Is there any flexibility built in to the view portal on the security server? Specifically, I'm looking to hide the "domain" field from display. Since we have only one domain that the users can pick from anyway, we'd like to remove it altogether, as displaying it on the open Internet can introduce a security risk.
All we really need is username and password on the login screen.
Thanks

If you have multiple domains you can hide them from being displayed to the users apart from the primary domain.
Note: This domain filtering option is available only in View 4.X release onwards.
Please have a look at the vdmadmin section in View Admin guide, if you have multiple domains and would like to block the sub domains apart from the primary domain.
Thanks guys, but neither of those show how to completely remove the domain field, which seems unnecessary if there's only one domain.
This seems like it should be so simple, like a comment in a script somewhere. This was a concern for us in VDI and I'm disappointed this hasn't been addressed in View 4.
I opened a ticket with VMware support regarding this very same issue. The only answer I got was view portal customization was not supported and to file a feature request.

Thanks.
Such a shame to have to use a VPN to connect to the View Portal.
Oh well. I'm going to go ahead and submit this as a feature request...for whatever that's worth.
