View Persona not syncing some users

We have around 40 virtual desktops deployed at our location. We are using Persona to sync the profiles to the server. I have triple checked the permissions on all the profiles but some of them refuse to sync up. There are currently 5 profiles that aren't syncing with the server. I enabled Persona Logging and have found errors pertaining to the syncing but I'm not sure what to do next to resolve them. I have attached the log file for one of these users. I'm hoping that if we fix one, it will fix all the issues. Here's a snippit of some of these errors:

I'm still having issues with some users not syncing to the persona share. I found some helpful info in the persona log and corrected some of the issue but not all. Here are some links I found that helped for a couple users. They might help others having the same problems.

Persona not syncing because of long file names:

ElevatedDiagnostics error message in log file:

Ok, so I thought I was good for a while but it started happening again. 4 of my users stopped syncing via Persona to their profiles on the server. Seems like the exact same issue as before. Can someone check on the log I attached in the original post and help me out? Thanks!

Are your pools setup to allow users to logon to more than one desktop a time?  If so you could be seeing some corruption of your persona store....

Nope, it's not set for multiple logons. My guess it the persona profiles are getting corrupt somehow, I just can't tell from the log what's going on with them.

I have attached a current persona error log file. I'm hoping someone can look through it and tell me what all these "failed" messages mean and how to correct them. I don't want to delete their profiles and recreate them just to have it happen again next month. I need to know what's going on.

Did you manage to fix this issue? We are experiencing something similar with 5.1. The first log in and sync works correctly but subsequent sync fails. If the user logs off and on again, pinned items appear white with the link lost. No problem with Windows roaming profiles.

I didn't ever fix the cause of the issue, I just found a way to remedy the issue when it pops up. I'm not sure what any of the error messages in the Persona log means so I can't figure out what's going on there.

The way I fix it now when I encounter the issue is to remote into the user's computer while they are on it and then navigate to their Persona share. I then right click on it and reconfigure the security on the share. Even though it's correct, I still go in and set it for Full Control on the user and System and then set ownership to the user. I'm not sure why this fixes the issue but it's worked 100% of the time so far. I would still like to know why it's happening to begin with. Hopefully someone will chime in with an explanation.

Hope this helps!

We have managed to fix this. By setting the share permissions to full control, the profile is updating correctly and pinned taskbar icons are now persisting.

So I thought the issue was resolved but it has started happening again. Could someone please look over the log file I attached earlier and let me know what I can do to fix this? Users are losing data because it's not syncing up to the server.

This solved the problem for me also. The share on the file server needs full control then Persona will sync. We are using vmware view 5.2.
