View Persona advice

Hi and thanks for looking at my discussion. We have a long standing VMWare View 5.2 environment that is currently using VMWare Persona Management backed via a virtual single node 2008 R2 file server.  We get about 600 concurrent sessions during peak hours and to be honest its worked pretty well for us so far.  The issue we have is with maintenance as we are 24x7x365 and as its a single node if we turn it off it causes issues for logged in users while its offline.  I'm in the process of re-building our environment with Horizon 6 and wanted to start again with the Persona infrastructure and wanted some advice.  I've looked into a clustered file server using MSCS and I’ve read information about DFS solutions but just wanted some real life examples setups that would fit with our 365 working patterns.

Two file servers utilizing a DFS-R folder pair between them as a landing site for your Persona data should work fine in your scenario. Clustering (via shared storage) with MSCS is messy inside a VMware environment -- if you can afford the 2x space requirement of DFS-R that's the way to go [if your storage is Dedupe capable the second server is basically free anyways].
