the View Composer is a Windows service and installed as Windows application. Due to that you'll find the version information in the control panel / Add/Remove Software. Click on : Click here for support information to get the versi

I've added the question also to the FAQ on my blog now: http://www.thatsmyview.net/faq/view-composer/which-view-composer-version-is-installed-on-my-system/

Hi Arjan,

If you have installed VMware View 3.0 the version of the View Composer is 1.0.

I think VMware View 3.01 was not provided with new version of the View Composer.

However, the VMware View 3.1 must contain some upgrade of the View Composer and you should be able to upgrade it.
