View Composer Fault: Could not find VC object of type VirtualMachine, and id (please check the master VM/snapshot or its replica)

Hi,

I was trying to recompose machines to a new Image and snapshot "X".

Many machines were already recomposed using this snapshot "X" and the snapshot is available. Parent VM is also there.

IN VCenter, machine shows off and when I turn on manually, it comes back in View admin using the previous snapshot.

Check if you renamed anything like a cluster, host, datastore, or something similar. If not just make a new snapshot and recompose, and that usually works. You don't need to change anything. What I like doing is cloning from a gold image and each pool has a parent and only one snapshot, if anything breaks I just delete the vm and recreate the parent image with only one snapshot.
