Hey guys,
we are planning to implement a VMware View environment for our users. Currently we have 3 testusers. The users report us that they have performance issues.
Analyzing the problem shows us the View Client (newest build) have recurrent high cpu load (at physical client machine). At this moment the user can't work with their VMs (screen not responds for a few seconds).
I have attached a screenshot which shows the task manager of the physical client computer. You can see the graph and causing process (wswc.exe).
On our testclient runs a blank WinXP Prof. SP3 (with all Microsoft Patches), no anti-virus program.
Have you any idea?
Hi there,
you should create a debug logfile on the client. In this file you can maybe directly see the reason.
This FAQ shows how you do that: http://www.thatsmyview.net/faq/logging/how-do-i-enable-debug-information-in-vmware-view-clientagent/

Hi,
I have created the log files. How can I analyse the dump file (wswc_3256.dmp) ?
The other files don't contain helpful things.
First look into the normal logfiles ... you should find error messages there

Hi,
I have done some analysis.
When I disable the TP AutoConnect Service (on the virtual machine) the performance issue and the high cpu load on the physical client (wswc.exe) is away !
What is going up with this service? What do this service every 30 seconds?
