I have a stupid question I haven't been able to resolve....I am presenting View 5.1 (floating) sessions to the Wyse Z90 thin clients. My end users are being presented with the View Client toolbar at the top of the screen and don't like seeing it. Prior to the Z90 we were using P20 zero clients which did not present the toolbar. Is there anyway to remove the toolbar fom this pool? I have tried looking at the adm templates on the connection broker but don't see the option anywhere.
Regards,
Erik
Erik, there is a GPO that will remove the toolbar but if I'm not mistaken it is referenced as the "shade" in the GPO.

Perfect. Thank you
How would I set the shade to be hidden automatically on a thin client? I'm using iGELs with the linux thin client on there.
Thanks in advance.
Just an update to the answer I received on my original post. The GPO was the fix, but in order to get it to work we had to run it against the windows embedded standard 7 OS not within our master gold image that we were creating link clones from. Initially I place the GPO change in our base image but still had the issue....
Hi
So if I apply that GPO to my virtual desktop OU (which contains all the linked clones) it'll get rid of the toolbar?
I thought that it would only apply to virtual desktops running within the windows view client (it being group policy linked etc) - how does it work against the view client running on the linux box?
Cheers
Chris
Not sure how it affects Linux systems. In our case we had to actually apply the GPO change on the physical endpoint which was a Wyse thin client running Windows Embedded Standard 7 OS. When we applied it to our view clients it did not work.
