How long does it have that status? If its more then 10min then there is something wrong.

Reinstall VMware Tools and View Agent of the parent virtual machine:

  1. Uninstall VMware Tools and View Agent software on the View desktop and reboot the VM.
  2. Install the VMware Tools in Custom mode.
  3. Expand VMware Device Drivers and change the SVGA Driver to This feature will not be available and reboot.
  4. Install VMware Tools and reboot.
  5. Install the View Agent and reboot.
  6. Release IP and shut down the parent VM
  7. Recompose the pool and see for any new disconnection.

Ensure that, you have the supported version of View Agent and View Client that matches to your View Connection Server version.

Let me know if this helps.

Does it stay on the status "Starting" OR does it start after an hour?

I reviewed the CSV file and it seems other desktops in the same pool are showing status as "Available".  Did you try to reset the problem desktops with the status "Startup"? OR you may remove the problem desktop from Desktops inventory and let Composer recreate a new desktop and see if this helps.

Manually deleting these stale desktops and re-provisioning them using composer is worth a try:

Exactly the same problem here.

Some machines are still in startup..

It was working all normally earlier but in one day its stopped

I cannot find any relationships why its so... No modifications was made to the system...

Only helps - is to restart Vmware View Connection Server service in services...

Tried to recompose (with advices mentioned earlier) no success.

Both Agent and Connection Server is 5.2

BTW - if let the machine in STARTUP and do not restart the service - it became available after several hours. (i think this is to much)

Looked also at the logs.. Nothing..
