View Agent reports a Protocol Failure in View 5.1

We saw an issue with a manual pool VDI, where it reported an error in View Administrator of Protocol Failure.  We could not connect to the VM via PCOIP, but we could with RDP.  We fixed the issue by repairing the agent on the VM. Our corporate office had rolled out FrontEnd Malware Protection today and it appears that this broke the Agent's ability to negotiate with View for PCOIP. 

Any one else seen a similar issue with other AV's?  This AV software broke the NIC's on physical machines too.
