View Admin complains that cert is not trusted.

New View 5.1 install.  First time we are using different certs than our previous method.  View works fine.  When you connect from a browser it shows the cert as trusted.  However, View Admin complains that the cert is not trusted even though the ca cert is in the trusted root store.  View works fine as expected, but this annoyance in the gui bugs me.  Anyone have similar problem?

The server is checking the certificate locally, i.e. as the system account on the CS machine. Do you have your root cert added to the trusted roots of the server rather than just your clients?

Yes, the certificate is in the personal store and the ca cert is in the trusted root CA store when viewing the local computer through the mmc for certs.

Hi

1. is this a selfsigned certificate or the default certificate.

2. if this is a selfsigned certificate how do you make it? (openssl or MS cert)

3. is the friendlyname vdm in the mmc
