View 7 Linked clones deploy error

On a Horizon View 7.0.3 infrastructure when I try to deploy a Linked Clones Pool (win10 or win7) I find allways this problem. "View Composer DiskFault: Disk customization failed due to an internal error".

Some one could help me?

Many thanks.

I have seen this error before and it always had something to do with the disk not being accessible or a specific service on the composer not being started.

Make sure the VMWare Universal File Access service is started on the Composer.

On the Composer Server all the VMware services are started.

I don't know what else check.

What is the disk it is complaining about? Disposable VMDK, Internal VMDK etc?

SSLv3 support needs to be enabled to avoid this.  Please follow the KB Linked Clone pool creation and recomposition fails with VMware Horizon View 6.1.x and older releases...

Do you use a professional version of windows or enterprise?

if it's a Pro take a look at this

Composer – Rearm

By default, when View Composer creates linked clones and runs QuikPrep, one of the tasks is to rearm licensing. You can prevent this by setting the following registry key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\vmware-viewcomposer-ga
SkipLicenseActivation  DWORD           0x1

maybe it's an windows sysprep error during recompose

Hello,

In the past when we manual started the service "VMWare Universal File Access" we got the same problems.

it's very important that the services automatically startups after the View Composer services is starting.

is it possible to reboot the composer server?
