View 6.2 "connection Timed out" Connecting to desktop

Would like to know if anyone else is experiencing the same issues and if not how we can go about troubleshooting our issue.

First off we are currently running view 6.2 environment which was an upgrade from 5.2 over the Christmas holidays.

we are a school using View for our BYOD program, so students are using a range of devices from windows 7/8/10 to Macs.

The issue we are experiencing is that at some point in time we will have a group or student come to us sometimes 10-20 or maybe more where that can not connect to their desktop they can authenticate, select a desktop, it says connecting to desktop and eventually says timed out connecting to a desktop.

The student may be connecting to a current session or connecting to a new session.

we have upgraded the affected students to the latest 3.5.2 build of the view client.

we have 2 floating pools and it happens on both, the only way we seem to be able to get them to connect again is to restart the security gateway services on the security servers. the students are on their own VLAN with 2 security servers with an HAProxy load balancer in front of them.

any ideas on what could be causing this??

sorry for the late reply, we did find a solution. we built replacement security servers with server 2012r2 instead of 2008r2 and so far they have been working well.
