View 6.2 issue with ESXi 6.0U1

Hi All, We have discovered there is an issue if you upgrade the Horizon view 6.2 back-end to vSphere 6.0U1.  The issue is with View Dashboard, see error below. java.lang.ClassCastException: com.vmware.vdi.vcsupport.vim.binding.impl.pbm.profile.CapabilityConstraintsImpl cannot be cast to com.vmware.vdi.vcsupport.vim.binding.impl.pbm.profile.SubProfileCapabilityConstraintsImpl We are following this case with VMware Support and there is a possibility the issue only affects vSAN deployment. Just to confirm, all other functions work, besides dashboard.

Thank you very much for posting this, showed up first on Google.

I am indeed facing the same java.lang exception error. I also have upgraded to View 6.2, vSphere 6.0 UP1 and indeed run a vSAN.

Was any workaround mentioned until 6.2.1 is released, whenever that maybe?!

There is no workaround. Expected patch release would be sometime in December. However all other function works besides the dashboard.

Hello,

Did you notice if the same thing happened before upgrading the esxi hosts and had only vcenter upgraded?

Since this is the only page that shows the health of each component of the View infrastructure, did the small panel on the upper left still working after the upgrade?

Thanks
