View 5, vCenter Server and Connection Manager

I'm building a small implementation of View 5 which will only have 6 - 10 Wyse thin clients. My question is can I install Connection Manager on the vCenter Server? I cannot use VM servers so the vCenter Server is a physical server on 2008 R2. The documentation says NOT to install Connection Manager on vCenter Server, but is that only because of performance?

There will be many conflicts. for example, both applications use same ports( 443, 80)
