I'm experiencing a very lengthy logon experience when i leverage User Persona. It takes approximately 2 to 5 minutes to login. First, it sticks at a blue screen for a bit. Then, evenutally the profile builds. After logoff, getting another desktop takes at least 2 minutes.
Setup
XP, View Client, PCOIP
Floating, Non-persistent desktops, Refresh @ logoff
User Persona enabled > CIFS share (Fiber conection - latency 1ms)
Sync = tried 15min, 10 min, 2 min, etc.
Redirect = Desktop, My Documents, Application Data, Local Settings
View Agent User Persona GPO = tried @ OU level, then local
Then, I tried simplifying the configurations by redirecting only "My Documents" and "Desktop" > same result
Simplified even further by disabling AV altogether (modified image and recomp'd)
If I don't use "Persona," then it takes the typical 25 seconds to build your profile, which is a heck of a lot faster.
Any ideas?
