View 5 Persona Mgmt

I'm using Vmware View 5 with the included AD - GPO persona mgmt template.

It was great setting up.  Just create a share and then in the GPO assign it to my users and then bam everything was working.

However now with one of my users they are having disappearing files.

any ideas on where I can start searching to see what is going on ?  this user is getting really angry that after every desktop refresh his newest files are getting wiped.

Have you tried enabling the logs for View persona to see if you can get any information that way?    Is it the same files everytime or something different from time to time?

Can you recreate the issue at whim?  What is the consistency of the issue, are they always exl, or word or powerpoint files, or mixed?  Larger or small files, recently saved or old fils?

Where do I find these log files?

In the same GPO that you enabled View persona on you can enable logging and specify the location of the log files.

Its different files.  It spit out a bunch of different files.  Do you know which one would be the best to start looking in?
