View 5.3.5 to View 6.2 Clean Install

I am working with a simple Horizon View 5.3.5 environment that consists of one Connection server running Win2008 R2 SP1 and one Composer sever running Win2008 R2 SP1 / SQ: Express 2008. There is a combination of floating and dedicated pools, and all the VDI's are dedicated workstations - no linked clones. We would like to upgrade to v. 6.2, but at the same time would like to migrate or do a "clean install" of both servers to Win2012 R2. I cant find any clear cut documentation or set of best practices to accomplish this. Has anyone gone through an upgrade similar to this or have any type of best practices?

On the View connection broker side you could do a backup/export of the ADAM database, build out the new server, and then import the database in.    On the composer side you could utilize the same methodology of migrating the SQl express database and then just pointed the new composer install to that database.    Since your backing up and restoring on both instances you should be able to power down the old 2K8 servers and bring them back online in case you needed to roll back.
