I installed a new Windows 2008 R2 SP1. Created an SSL certificate from our Windows CA and installed it with full certification path to the root CA and the friendly name of vdm. I installed the view 5.1 connection server. When I go to the shortcut created or use the ip address, eg. https://localhost/admin, I get a web page can not be displayed on IE 9. Port 443 is not in use. The network diagnostics I run in IE says that the device or resource is not setup to accept https connections. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've reviewed the installation documentation and can't locate any thing I may have missed. Any help is greatly appreciated,
Thank you,
-Mark
Did you create the certs with an exportable private key? If you don't, the view ssl service will fail to load.

Its a bug with 5.1 and windows enterprise certificates, you need to wait some extra time if you have your own certificate. If you still need help reply away.
It's been a full day. Still not working.

vanel86,
It worked. The only difference is I didn't make the request from the certificates snap-in, I was making it with the certsrv website. I doubt that should make a difference. Anyway, thank you for guiding me through this problem.
