View 4 and PCoIP

I have a question about View 4 and Windows 7 guest VM.

When I attempt to connect to a View desktop using PCoIP, I am presented with a blank or black screen that in a minute just closed seemingly refusing the connection.

When I attempt to connect using RDP the desktop opens, but request user logon credentials. When I re-enter the credentials logon is successful.

I've done some research and used the SVGA II video driver and I am able to login with PCoIP, but eventually Windows 7 blue screens and I have to revert back to the SVGA 3D or the Standard VGA which does not respond with PCoIP.

You should check the Firewall on client/guest. Maybe port 5200x is blocked.

Very strange, that changing the driver enables you to be to long on.

Is vmware tools and the HW version all up to date?

Are you connecting from outside your Firewall

If so, and you are coming in through the VMView security server PCoIP will not work.

Only the RDP protocol will work until they release the 4.5 version..

all those symthoms are the same as the ones I had...

Connecting internally through your LAN works fine, right?
